The Sierra Norte, or Sierra Juarez, is the mountain range located to the north of the city of Oaxaca (an hour and a half drive by car). Its summits boast an altitude of approximately 3000m above sea level providing a spectacular view over the central valleys. This territory offers a unique natural beauty and the local communities share a common cultural inheritance of care and respect for their surroundings. We offer walking and mountain biking tours in this beautiful region which last between 1 and 5 days, leaving from Oaxaca City. We can spend the night in local community hostels or camp in the forest, depending on your preference. Our tours are designed to match your interests; we offer a selection of routes from the easy for families to large expeditions for more demanding hikers and cyclists.
